Prospects: Luís Bolaños

By: Marco | March 28th, 2009

I first watched him during LD Quito’s Copa Libertadores campaign and then on several occasions during the Club World Cup. He had some very impressive pace and some great movement on the ball. Espanyol and several other teams were very interested in signing him but Santos snapped him up at the last second. I was looking for some low-key prospects in South America and remembered him.

He has 16’s for pace, stamina and flair while he has some balanced stats overall. I scouted him in my Colo-Colo game and thus signed him as a result but we will have to wait since the transfer deadline is in another few months. At the most he would probably be a decent midtable prospect or relegation team but he could always improve in the future. He can play on the left and right up the wings and in the center of the midfield. Someone should see how he does in Europe…

in real life he was second fiddle to Guerron, who went ot to Getafe ( and doesnt play at all ). But He has the Potential to be one of Ecuador’s best players.

    Should be decent in FM….
